The new-school way to establish a top-class fleet.

Proper road safety practices aren’t always a given. Who has the right of way? Do I need to stop if there’s no cars coming? Questions like these are common for drivers to ask themselves. Frequent reviews of proper driver and fleet safety practices helps to keep your drivers, fleet, and those they share the road with safe. SafetyFirst’s Driver Training encompasses a catalog of educational materials with a focus on safe driving practices and fleet operation procedures. Our Online Training program is comprised of more than 20 prerecorded instructional videos covering a range of safe driving topics. These videos can be easily accessed through SafetyFirst’s online learning management system. In addition to Online Training, the Ten-Minute Training Topics are remarkably popular among customers. Every month, SafetyFirst provides customers with an informative and engaging slide deck overview on a unique topic, drawing from our catalog of hundreds of different driver and fleet safety subjects while also developing new ones on a regular basis. Paired together or individually, our Driver Training offerings serve as useful supplements to your existing training materials and programs.

Online Training

A whole new kind of driving school.

As the saying goes, “Practice makes perfect.” The same can be said when it comes to safe driving. By regularly reviewing safe driving behaviors your fleet drivers are more likely to keep these behaviors at the top of their mind and thus they’re more likely to follow these practices while out on the road. This is why we developed the SafetyFirst Driver Training program. Presented in the form of professional instructional videos, our 20+ training lessons cover a range of important safe and proper driving topics including tailgating, speeding, bad weather driving, and more.

Driver Training takes full advantage of the customization and flexibility of the eDriverFile platform to deliver an even more powerful experience. Fleet managers can assign specific lessons, set completion deadlines, and send training invitations using drivers’ email addresses stored in the system. Assignments are flexible—managers can assign lessons to all drivers or just selected individuals—and they can even track the last time a driver viewed their assigned training.

The system is equally simple and convenient for drivers. They can log in directly from their email invitation to access training–and for drivers without a work email, managers can print a physical invitation with login instructions. Once logged in, drivers watch the instructional videos for each lesson and then complete a review quiz to reinforce the material. Upon completion, fleet managers can issue customized training certificates as proof of achievement.
